How to request deletion

Email hello@smart-grp.co.uk with the subject line "Data deletion request", or call us on 01772 285808. Please include:

• Your full name.
• The email address and phone number you used when contacting us.
• The property or site address, if you have had a survey or works carried out.
• Where the data came from, if you know — for example our website form, live chat, or a Facebook or Instagram message or advert.

What we delete

On receiving a valid request we remove your contact details, enquiry history, chat transcripts and marketing records from our CRM, email and live chat systems, and instruct our service providers to do the same.

What we may need to keep

Where we have carried out work for you, we may need to retain a limited record to meet legal, tax, warranty, certification and safety obligations. If that applies, we will tell you what is being kept, why, and for how long. That information is not used for marketing.

How long it takes

We acknowledge requests as soon as we can and complete them within one month of receiving the request and verifying your identity. If a request is complex we may extend this and will let you know.

Facebook and Instagram data

If you contacted us through a Facebook or Instagram page, advert or lead form, that enquiry may have been passed to our CRM. Use the email address above to ask us to delete it. You can also remove our access to your data from within your Facebook or Instagram account settings, under Apps and Websites.
