The Grange - Solar & Battery Installation

Project: Solar PV & Battery Storage Installation
Client: Private Residential Client
Location: Wrea Green, Lancashire

We successfully delivered a high-performance renewable energy solution for a residential property in Wrea Green, designed to significantly reduce electricity costs while future-proofing the home for rising energy demand.

The client wanted a system that would maximise self-generated energy, reduce reliance on the grid, and provide long-term protection against increasing electricity prices — without compromising on performance or reliability.

Project Scope

The installation included a fully integrated renewable energy system, comprising:

  • 16kW floor-mounted solar PV array to generate clean, renewable electricity throughout the year
  • 40kW battery storage system to store excess solar generation for use during evenings and peak tariff periods
  • Smart energy management system to optimise battery charging, discharge and grid usage
  • Full electrical integration with the existing supply and distribution system
  • System monitoring via app-based control for real-time performance tracking

The Result

The completed system now delivers:

  • Significant reductions in monthly electricity bills
  • Increased energy independence and protection from rising tariffs
  • Efficient use of self-generated solar power day and night
  • A future-ready energy platform capable of supporting EV charging and heat pumps

This project demonstrates our ability to design and install large-scale domestic renewable systems that perform to commercial standards — delivering long-term financial and environmental benefits for homeowners.
